Instead of funding the state’s fair share of public education, state politicians put Question 2 on the ballot in every community for November 2026 and 2028. New Hampshire is already dead last in the nation when it comes to state funding for public schools because state politicians have failed to fund our public schools. Question 2 will only make it worse. School funding caps harm students, educators, public schools, and taxpayers. They don't make our communities more affordable, but they do put our students' futures at risk.
We need to protect local control. In New Hampshire, we come together every year in towns across the state to debate and vote on how we want to invest in our local public schools. If we want to make local decisions around those investments, we can. But Question 2 would put a one-size-fits-all control on how local communities spend their own local dollars.
On November 3, we need to vote NO on Question 2 to tell New Hampshire state politicians to do their jobs and fund our public schools.
